4. Logistics Data and Inquiries

Inquiry information may be reviewed manually so that a logistics requirement can be understood before any follow-up. Reference prices, price bands, route notes, and transit times shown on the website are informational signals only and are not binding freight quotes.

When you submit an inquiry, SaveOnShip may include server-detected request context such as IP address, forwarded-for chain, and browser user-agent in the operator notification email. This context is used for security, abuse prevention, support, and inquiry review. It is not collected through a visible form field, and this task does not use a third-party IP geolocation service.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

SaveOnShip uses cookies and local browser storage for service operation and preferences. Current uses include:

  • Authentication and session cookies that keep signed-in users connected
  • Security cookies or tokens used by the authentication system
  • Preference storage for theme, locale, and lightweight interface choices
